Happy Baby and SANTA!!

Ainsley got to meet Santa this weekend. She was pretty unimpressed by him. But it was still cute.

Santa arrived and told stories to the kids, then he got out his big book and figured out who was naughty and nice, then came the photo ops.

She's becoming more and more active. Lately she's been enjoying her bouncy chair. She likes to hit at the horsey thing.

I have video of her playing in her bouncy chair, but I can't seem to get Blogger to upload it. Maybe it's too big--it's 3 minutes. If you'd like to bask in Ms. A's cuteness, let me know, I'll send you it in an email.

These pics show how happy she is when she's hanging with her dad while Momma's at work. I'm told that she has her good days and bad days while I'm gone. But these pictures make it look like they're all good days!

I think this could quite possibly be the cutest picture of Ainsley to date. We'll see...she gets cuter everyday!

Two Months!!

Ms. A will be two months old tomorrow. It's crazy to believe that she's been around for so long. She was 8 weeks on Thanksgiving. I made a point to tell her what was going on two weeks beforehand. She seemed to not care. :D

Here's Ms. A snoozin in her bed. She's a patoot!

In case you were unsure, Ainsley's NUMBER ONE!

Sean and Ainsley and I watched the new season of Ninja Warrior this weekend. This picture cracked me up...the two of them, watching the Ninja Warrior.

Here's a full body shot so you can see how GINORMOUS she is. I weighed her while I was at my grandmas, and she's now 10 lbs.

Daelyn Moore came to visit Ainsley last week. She was excited to change a diaper and REALLY wanted to hold Ms. A.

The lifting of the head is a popular activity these days.

I finally got her crib bedding put together....and it's gorgeous.

Whenever I see this picture, I think of Weezer from Steel Magnolias saying, "Whut?!"

Movin' and shakin'

Ainsley and Grandma.

Aunt Jessy got to meet Ms. A on Saturday.

Cousin Morgann was initially nervous, but held Ms. A like a pro.

We stayed with Great Grandma...who enjoyed playing with Ms. A.

Ms. A liked checking out Uncle John.

While Aunt Nancy was holding Ms. A, she unleashed a ferocious poo. It was quite funny!

Aunt Melia and Ms. A

I love this picture. Uncle Mark, Aunt Melia, and Ms. A.

Cousin Marky really enjoyed visiting with Ms. A. She also really enjoyed looking at him.

This is Ms. A making a face at Uncle Jim. I've already given her lessons in teasing Uncle Jim.

When my mom saw this picture, she said, "Oh, your grandma looks just like Barbara now!" I responded, "Because that is Barbara!" We were able to get to Barb and Jim's for a bit on our last visit.

Aunt Lori with Ms. A. Lots of people enjoyed holding and patting Ms. A!

Videos
This is some video of Ms. A wiggling and wanting to chatter. It's quite cute.

Week Seven Already?!?

This week (or these weeks as I slacked last week) has been kinda hurry up and wait!

Ainsley and I played Punk Rock Girl this week. After a bath, I decided to punk out her hair...and as you can see, the results were HILARIOUS!

Last Saturday, Great Grandma Ballay came to visit. We had a good time hanging out and chatting. Ms. A promptly fell asleep.

As you can see, sleeping is something she's still enjoying. :D

Ms. A's is most alert when she's hanging out on her changing pad.

She's also much more active with her hands now.

She enjoys wiggling around

And, of course, lifting the head.

Video
This week's video is pretty uneventful, but it is evidence of how she has gotten the nicknames Wiggle Worm and Wiggle Butt.

Five Weeks!!

It's difficult to believe that Ms. A is now over a month old!!

She's had quite a thrilling week since our last post.

On Halloween, she got dressed up in some gear and hung out with Grandma, Momma, and Aunt Sarah.

As you can see, Boomer still loves his baby.

This was Ms. A's "costume."

Momma and baby "gave out candy" at Aunt Sarah's. Mostly we sat on the porch (it was a WONDERFUL Indian summer evening) and watch the kiddies come to Sarah's.

On Nov. 1, Aunt Jill came for a visit. Ainsley enjoyed napping with Jill.

That evening, Ainsley had her first public adventure. Momma and Ainsley went to Frank and Rebecca's Halloween Party. Momma was "New Momma" wearing a robe and looking generally frazzled. Ainsley was "Cute". :D She got to hang out with Aunt Karen again. (Check out that face she's making!!)

She also got to meet Ripley "Tinkerbell" Merritt and Frank "Fat Elvis" Merritt.

She also had fun hanging out with Suzanne. Ainsley enjoyed everyone cooing over the cute tiny baby.

On November 2, Ainsley turned a month old. So, I decided it was time for a baby photo shoot (not like everyday in our house isn't a baby photo shoot!).

The photo shoot got so exhausting, she fell asleep!

I've deemed this the "who farted" photo. It was almost name the "Oh no you di'in't" photo.

The swing is still enjoyable.

One day, I will have an entire photo album of Ainsley yawning.

Aunt Sarah came over to watch some "Dirty, Sexy, Money" and "Whatever, Martha!" Ainsley enjoyed herself.

Funny faces

This week is video free, but I thought I'd toss in some funny faces that Ms. A has made.

She's beginning to recognize her hands more.
