Hello all!
This week Ainsley's had some more adventures! Well, I had an adventure and Ainsley slept. :D Ms. A had her first babysitting experience last Friday. Sean and I took my car into the shop and went to Sam's Club while Ms. A hung out with Aunt Sarah. Aunt Sarah reported that Ms. A and she hung out and talked a lot, then Ms. A took her requisite nap.
Ainsley also got geared up for Seattle's win on Sunday. She and her dad hung out watching the game.
Notice her Seahawks onesies...courtesy of Auntie E!
Videos
This week we have two videos. The first involves Ms. A hanging w/her Dad. Notice that he's already teaching her "hook'em horns."
Now this video could give you diabetes with its cuteness. I recommend this video to everyone. Ainsley's been a bit conjested lately...and she's inherited my sleep with your mouth open trait (LOVELY). So, here it is...Ainsley snoring.
Ainsley continues to grow and be cute. A good deal of her activity still involves things she does whilst sleeping on Momma's chest.
Here she is stretching in her sleep.
Here she is being contemplative in her sleep.

Ainsley's Week of Firsts
Ainsley had a pretty big Week Three!
The Sideys (who I've decided will be named Unca Mark and Aunt Deb to Ms. A) came to visit last Thursday and took a few family pics. (I've put them on Snapfish, parents and interested viewers, so if you want copies, let me know I'll send an invite.)
Yawning continues to be CUTE.
Before the Sidey's visit Ms. Ainsley had a washcloth bath...which created some fun hair!
LOOK AT THAT HAIR!!!
Ms. A has also been having fun making faces at her Momma.
This is her pirate face.
This is the I'm-scrunched-up-with-cuteness face!
I don't know what she's doing here, but it cracks me up!
Ainsley's two-week doctor's appointment was on Tuesday. She now weighs 8 lbs 1 oz. and has grown an inch to 20 1/2". Doctor says she's perfect, which we already knew.
On Tuesday night while watching The Hulk, Ainsley decided to test us by evacuating her entire body everywhere. She pooed all over her dad. Then she pooed all over her playyard. Then when we finally got her clean, she peed all over everything else. Her punishment was to have a sink bath the next day. Marvel at the sink bath cuteness! Oh, and she didn't cry a single tear. She's a trooper. :D
This is the towel and robe from cousin Christy. SOOOO cute!
Ainsley also got a swing. While she rejected it on the first day, she has come to embrace its swingy-goodness.
Videos
This video is a short one...I was trying to get her to document more of her cuteness, but then she got into fit throwing because BABIES WERE STARVING.
This video shows Ms. A learning about her voice a bit. She was kinda waking up...being all just waking up cuteness...but then she realized that babies would much prefer to sleep. :D
And make no mistake...babies prefer to sleep.

Week Two
Huzzah! Ainsley's two weeks old today!
She's currently napping in her bassinet next to me as her dad is installing new fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house.
Ainsley has had a pretty good week. She got some visitors on Saturday and Monday--as evidenced by the previous post. She's working hard on trying to hold her head up. She actually can toss her head around quite a bit (something she's done since birth), but now she's working more on control.
Her cord fell off on Saturday, but we're unsure if her belly button is going to be an innie or outie yet. I'm thinking innie.
Sean and I are getting into a pretty solid routine. I have another four weeks of maternity leave before we mess with our schedule. I had my first all by myself excursion yesterday--I ran to work, Kohls (for some breastfeeding shirts...I had NONE), and the grocery. I was gone for about 2-2 1/2 hours...and I didn't have any huge Ainsley separation anxiety...which I think bodes well.
Ok. Now for what you're really here for...PICTURES!!
Her SUPERCUTE yawning again!
She loves to have her hands by her face when she sleeps.
Yes, those are my Kermit Christmas pjs...and I'm on maternity leave and I'll wear what I want!
Doing a little Southern Belle.
I'm not sure what this is about...but it CRACKS ME UP.
Now, I've fiddled with the video feature of our camera...and this is for the Ainsley diehards only. She doesn't really do anything in this video but look at me. :D Though she does have a bit of a smile in it.

Visitors!
Ainsley and her mom playing a voracious game of "Who's the cutest baby who's ever lived? YOU ARE!!!"
Grandma Fitzgerald, who broke the sound barrier racing from Portage to see Ainsley, arrived a mere 3 hours after Ainsley was born.
Grandpa Parker chillin' w/his first grandchild.
Grandma Parker (we're gonna have to figure out some new names) feeding Ms. A.
Great Grandma McGhee w/le babe.
Aunt Kellyn made a trip up to take Mom out shopping at Target and spend some quality time with her niece.
Aunt Alysse and Ainsley got on famously.

Week One
So, today Ainsley is one week old.
We have weathered the week well. Ainsley was diagnosed with jaundice when we left the hospital on Saturday. By Sunday evening, she was screaming crying all night long. We discovered that we had to start supplementing her food...and now she's the happiest of campers. We've taken some pictures of Ms. A throughout the week that we thought you may be interested in checking out.
Here's Ainsley w/her dad shortly after she was born.
Another shot of her sleeping on her dad the day after she was born.
Ms. A catching some zzz's w/her mom.
Ms. A sleeping in the biliblanket. She should be able to come off the blanket tomorrow.
Ainsley likes to chill when she sleeps.
Sean took this picture. We're both VERY entertained when she yawns.
