Dancing at Frank's pool

Ainsley enjoys playing with Other Baby.

This is the most awesome display of fit-throwing known to man.

Long Time No Post

Why has it been so long, you ask? Well, I'm in school and working full time. You do the math!

Miss A's had her first birthday, a girl's trip to the Big City, and her first haircut!

She's walking everywhere now. Just today, she's learned that she can kick things across the floor. I think her daddy's really pleased with her soccer potential.

Dogs have really learned to appreciate Miss A...particularly at dinnertime.

She liked using the spoon a bit...now she just wants to use hands.

Getting into everything!

Hanging out at Frank's pool...she loved playing with Ripley!

Bathtime is AWESOME!

Cupcakes are also AWESOME!

Hanging with Aunt Jill...wanting her cupcake.

Just as the party started, Ainsley got tired and needed a nap, so she took one on her favorite napping place: Daddy.

Grandmas are very excited to see Miss A!

Being blocked off from the stairs is upsetting. This is an awesome fit. I will post video.

Ten Months?!

July has been a pretty fun month for Ainsley. She's become more mobile and active.

We went to Florida with my family. She had a good time. While she loves pools and baths, Ainsley has decided that she does NOT like the gulf or waves. Sand is yummy.

Ainsley really enjoyed playing with Aunt Sarah, who was in training for her own wee one!

With Daddy in the gulf. Notice the disdain.

With Mommy on the pontoon. She enjoyed the pontoon, but the wind was a bit much for her.

The life jacket was adorable!

Florida was pretty hot, and Ainsley got tired a lot. We went Putt Putting. Aunt Sarah and Aunt Alysse posed with the exhausted baby.

Ainsley got to meet Augie on the way home from Florida. She enjoyed playing with Miss Rachel and Eric. Augie was mostly interested in being held and sleeping.

After getting back from Florida, Ainsley pointed out that it was time for Mommy to stop being lazy and put her suitcase away...or at least close it.

So, just today, Ainsley has started smiling for the camera without prompting. She hears the beeping and she smiles. Also, her feet are still cool.

Babies are mobile and big, fat hams!

Getting tired after so much play.

Ainsley is getting over baby food pretty quickly. She'd much rather have grown up food. This is her "I want that animal cracker" move.

"This is tasty."

"Are there more?"

Video
Here's a short video of Ms. A traveling for animal cracker. As Aunt Sarah says....she's a mover and a shaker. I think she says "thank you" in this video.

Nine Months

Well, I've been slacking. But only because I've been hanging out with my awesome daughter this summer! Ainsley's done a good deal of growing the last few months--she's crawling and into EVERYTHING. I'll share some pictures and tales!

Ms. A is now eating semisolid food. She really likes puffs and lil' crunchies.

I walked into the kitchen to discover Sean helpin A ride Boomer. Notice Sadie not really caring. A had her first woofie altercation in June. Sadie was sleeping. A crawled up to her and "pet" her. At some point, petting turned into ripping out her fur, which made Sadie yelp and jump a bit. It scared A, who cried. I was happy because Sadie didn't bare teeth or growl at all--just a "please stop" yelp. Good dog.

Everything goes in her mouth now.

Ainsley really enjoys attacking her pink bunny. She'll jump on it and chew at its head.

In June, we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Parker for Aunt Alysse's graduation. A enjoyed being the center of attention.

Ms. A has also started crawling. She really rocks and rolls around now.

I love this picture of A and Aunt Kellyn. The faces crack me up!

Family picture taken by Aunt Alysse.

Giving Momma kisses is something that A likes to do often. Sometimes kisses turn into nose biting. We're working on "no."

Our four generations picture. Great Grandma McGhee, Grandpa Parker, Momma, and Ainsley.

Aunt Abbey calls this her Bill Murray face. It's a Cinderella story!

Cute. Just plain cute.

We went to Texas this summer to visit Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. Ainsley got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa while Momma and Daddy went to Austin. While we were gone, Ainsley started clapping! She also learned how to pull herself up on things while there.

A is a fashion plate.

After Texas, Momma and Ainsley went to Portage for Cousin Steve's wedding. Ainsley loves to sit in the grass.

See? She's so happy she's clapping.

She got to hang out with Cousin Morgann and Aunt Jill too!

This lasted about 45 seconds.

She liked Grandpa Lee Roy's funny faces.

For the 4th of July, we went to Frank and Rebecca's house for a cookout and fireworks. Ainsley really enjoyed playing with Bob! Notice her supercute 4th of July outfit!
